Insight Test Labs has recently obtained official authorization from the HDMI Forum, becoming an Authorized Test Center (ATC) capable of performing HDMI 2.X certification testing. Currently, Insight Test Labs can provide comprehensive HDMI testing services for HDMI source products, including certification testing for HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, HDMI 2.1 FRL, as well as HDCP 1.X and HDCP 2.X.
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) was introduced in 2002 with the goal of replacing older interfaces like VGA and DVI. Now it has become one of the most widely used video transmission interfaces in consumer-electronics. HDMI specification has undergone multiple revisions, with the latest HDMI 2.1 specification released by the HDMI Forum at the end of 2017. A groundbreaking feature of this release was FRL (Fixed Rate Link) transmission mode. Compared to HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.1 TMDS improved the refresh rate from 30 Hz to 60 Hz, while HDMI 2.1 FRL further increased the maximum refresh rate to 120 Hz and the bandwidth to 48 Gbps, enabling the transmission of video resolutions up to 10K.
Insight Test Labs now offers HDMI ATC certification test and self-test for HDMI source products equipped with HDMI interfaces, such as laptops, desktop computers, industrial computers, cameras, set-top boxes, DVD players, and graphics cards. Our mission is to help you ensure that your designed products comply with the latest HDMI 2.1b and HDMI 1.4b testing standards.
