HDMI Certificaiton Process
(1) Become an HDMI member
Inquire whether if you are an HDMI membership or not here
If you need to apply for membership, you can refer to Become An HDMI Adaptor
Your product must use a connector that complies with the HDMI specifications.

(2) Documents required for testing
- CDF (Capabilities Declaration Form): Used to declare the performance and functionality of the product and cross-checked during the certification testing process to ensure compliance with relevant standards and consistency requirements. This form is a necessary document in the testing process, and you can download it from the HDMI official website (membership is required).
- Family Model Series: This document includes a list of model numbers for a series of similar products. This table should be submitted to the laboratory before product certification. The applicable scenarios for a series model list include the following conditions:
1. There are no software or hardware changes between series models except for the outer shell design and color.
2. HDMI design remains consistent within the series models. - HDCP Document: Although this document is not a mandatory requirement for HDMI certification, if your product supports HDCP 1.x or 2.x, you must fill out the relevant HDCP form. You can obtain it from DCP official websitedownload the related HDCP forms
(3) Get Certification
Using your HDMI member account, apply for the association's official confirmation letter:
- Choose the relevant product category (Source, Sink, Cable, Repeater…)
- Upload the CDF and ATC certificates.
